All about asuran{dot}net

My hosting plan is from Pinoyhosting.net. My domain, asuran.net, was bought from Pinoydns and is named after one of the primary characters in the anime Kidou Senshi Gundam SEED (Mobile Suit Gundam SEED) and its sequel, Kidou Senshi Gundam SEED DESTINY (Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny), specifically Athrun Zala, an elite pilot of ZAFT and best friend of Kira Yamato, Gundam SEED's main protagonist and one of the returning characters in SEED Destiny. Asuran is actually how his name sounds in Japanese; Athrun is the name used in the English version. I chose this domain name because Athrun is one of my favorite anime characters (and because athrun.net is already taken, bah). At first I wasn't sure if I should register the domain name, but now I'm pretty happy with it because it's short and it's named after one of the hottest animanga characters ever drawn. :P And if you mispronounce it it would sound like "as you ran", which I thought sounded pretty cool. Because it is. *gigglefit*

I bought this domain around March 2005, when I realized I had too many sites and I wanted a space in the web I could call my very own. I was really excited when I finally had one! :D I think webspace and a domain is one of the things I want a lot. :) Anyway, this domain is now over a year old, and I'm not letting go of it anytime soon. :D

Sometime around late 2007 I bought my other domain, Star-catcher.net, because I thought the name sounded awesome. :p I then thought that I should have a fanlistings collective, and thus asuran.net became my FL collective while star-catcher turned into my main domain. :)

The name, Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis came to me one night, when I was in bed thinking of a new layout for my domain. At first I wanted to call my network Metropolis, but then I decided that Metamorphosis was better because it embodied what I want to achieve with this domain. I'm someone who wants to continue improving, so naturally, I want my domain's layouts to continue improving as well. And it's not just the domain; every shrine or fanlisting I have here needs to get better and not just remain stagnant, so that's why I decided on the name Metamorphosis. This online home of mine isn't just a network; it's a place where I continue to grow and improve constantly. :)

You can also download the original .png files there, if for some strange reason you want to! *gigglelulz*

Oh man, I used too many fonts for this layout. :P Still, I'm going to try to name them all: Impact, PaletteD, Alba, Kristen ITC, Georgia, Print Clearly Dashed, Kill Switch, FZ Jazzy 10 3D, Arial, Arial Black, and Violation. Okay, that was a lot. :P If the font is in bold, that means that they can already be found in your PC as default fonts, and if they're italicized, then that means you can download them at Da Font. Circle brushes are from Evyblack.
